" love snowboarding " -
your fav snowboard shop

love snowboarding combines my passion for snowboarding and a long-developed idea: A small PopUp snowboard shop in my hometown Tettnang!

Intensive advice, from snowboarders for snowboarders in a family environment, to a snowboard selection that is nowhere else in the Lake Constance area. That is the goal!

I am eager to pass on my love for snowboarding and my knowledge of almost 30 years on the boards that mean the world to me.

love snowboarding !!!

Opening of my little PopUp Snowboard Shop in Tettnang is the 01st of December 2018

You should save the two days in the diary:

December 15th: Boards and Pretzels >> "get together" Shopping night with videos and good talks around snowboarding,

And the December 16th: 'love snowboarding travels to resort nearby - with test possibility

I am looking forward to your visit in my snowboard shop!

Mountains are calling and the big WHY ???

In my 11 years working in the snowboard sales and the many years before as a teacher, I've really lost a lot. The too-old board from the brother, too big shoes or incorrectly set bindings. The list is long. But even in lift lines I wonder again and again who has failed here in the literal sense of the word. No wonder the fun on the mountain remains on the track. Here are some tips for choosing the right snowboard equipment:

The snowboard boot

The shoe connects the body with the board. In a too big shoe you slip and get no grip, in a too small or badly fitting shoe you have bruises and be in après earlier than you like.
The right shoe is central for a nice day on the mountain - here it is worth investing time and money even for beginners.
If you have found the right shoe, it is usually worth investing in a sensible footbed / insole. These improve massively again hold and fit. Here I also like to advise you.

The snowboard binding

Binding and shoes form a unity. They should always be tested that they fit well together and do not create any uncomfortable pressure marks. In my view, in terms of stop and price performance is nothing about the classic strap binding. Heckeinsteiger and Step-In systems have never really convinced me, but certainly have their fans. A bond should also be set by someone who knows it and puts you in the middle of the board, otherwise suffers the performance of the entire setup.

The snowboard

Even though I like to focus on matching shoes and bindings, there is a lot to note about the board. Purpose, ability, ... and more are important that you have fun on the mountain. One of the biggest mistakes I often hear is the rough arrangement between my mouth and my nose. For sellers who only look for it looks better immediately the distance.
When I walk on a beam, gravity is relatively no matter how tall I am. Weight and load decide how far the beam bends.
